- EU citizens: a rental contract is enough (not Airbnb or similar). Still, ask your landlord to sign this form: a landlord who is not willing to sign it is often an early sign of trouble.
- Non-EU citizens: the landlord signs both the rental contract and this form in front of a notary or at CzechPOINT. Hand in the originals with your visa or residence permit application. Fail-safe best practice: imagine sending this by DHL across the world, only for the embassy to reject the rental contract because it has an ordinary signature.
- More owners? All owners sign. Is the provider a tenant? Then the tenant signs, and the office may ask for the owner’s consent to subletting.
This form is for your visa or residence permit. To use an address as the business address of your trade license, the owner signs a different form: use our Souhlas s umístěním sídla generator. More about finding a place to live: your residence address.
