Terms and conditions

Effective 31 October 2026

These terms apply to the services you order from us through this website: trade license registration, changes and fixes, the virtual office, the income tax return and paid consultations. How we handle your personal data is in our privacy policy.

1. Who we are

TradeLicense.cz is run by Ing. Roald van de Munt, a self-employed business owner, IČO 87476151, invoiced under the name Alexio Consultancy LLC. Some services may be provided by the associated company Alexio Consultancy s.r.o., IČO 11803860. E-mail: info@tradelicense.cz · Post: Alexio Consultancy, IP Pavlova 1789/5, 120 00 Praha 2 – Vinohrady, Czech Republic.

2. Working together

Our work needs two-way communication. If you do not respond to our requests for more than one month, or do not send information we need to continue or complete the service within that month, we may stop the service without a refund.

Accounting output (tax returns, (de)registration forms, the accounting database file) is handed over once all outstanding invoices, including any penalties and interest, are paid in full and the hand-over protocol is signed, or an email ending the relationship has been received from either side.

What a service includes. A service includes all the work needed to deliver it. For example, a tax return includes receiving and reviewing your documents, processing your income and expenses, and the calculations behind the return; a trade license registration includes preparing the forms and the communication with the offices. This work is part of the service you order, also when you only asked for the end result.

Filing on your behalf. By ordering, you authorise us to file on your behalf what the service needs: for a tax return the income tax return and the overviews for social security and health insurance; for a trade license the registrations at the trade office, the tax office, social security and health insurance. We do this with the powers of attorney you sign, and send you a copy of what we filed.

Powers of attorney have no end date, because you may need our help even years after leaving the Czech Republic. If you change provider, make sure your new provider replaces our powers of attorney with their own; this cancels ours.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in CZK. Euro amounts are converted at the current ČNB rate and rounded to whole euros: the amount shown before payment is the amount you pay.
  • We start once your payment has arrived.
  • Discounts (VAT subscription, friend code, credit for friends brought in) add up, up to the price of the tax return itself.

4. Income tax return

  • We start once we have your payment, your power of attorney and all your documents: first come, first served.
  • The price covers preparing and filing the income tax return and the overviews for social security and health insurance, and the follow-up on that filing: we put our own contact details in the return, so the tax office contacts us, not you, and we answer its questions about the return. Not included, and invoiced separately: requests for lowering or cancelling tax, social or health prepayments, sorting out late payments, debts and penalties, tax audits (daňová kontrola) and other dealings with the offices.
  • Late filing or payment: after the deadline the tax office charges interest (0.05% a day, max. 5%) after a 5-day grace period; social security and health insurance charge penalties too.
  • We cannot be held responsible for penalties or audits by the tax office.
  • No refund if we cannot file because documents or answers are missing or come too late.

5. Trade license registration, changes and the virtual office

  • We file the registrations and changes with the offices once we have your payment, your power of attorney and the documents on your checklist.
  • Office fees and costs paid for you to others (translations, CzechPOINT, the virtual office provider) are part of the price where the order says so, and otherwise invoiced separately.
  • The offices decide on your registration; we cannot be held responsible for their decisions or how long they take.

6. EU right of withdrawal, cancellation and refunds

You can withdraw from a contract you concluded with us online within 14 days of your order, without giving a reason.

How to withdraw

  • Use the Withdraw from the contract button on your order page. The link is in every e-mail about your order.
  • Or e-mail us (reply to the e-mail about your order), for example: "I withdraw from the contract for [service], order [number] of [date]. Name, address, date, signature (only on paper)."

We confirm the receipt of your withdrawal by e-mail.

Starting within the 14 days

We start after the 14-day withdrawal period, unless you ticked Start right away when ordering. In that case:

  • if you withdraw, you pay for the work already done until your withdrawal, and for costs we already paid for you to others (offices, translators, the virtual office provider);
  • once the service has been completed, you can no longer withdraw.

What "work already done" means per service

  • Trade license registration: once we have started, a setup fee of 3,750 CZK / 150 EUR (this includes the consultation), plus costs already paid for you, such as the virtual office, translations or CzechPOINT fees. The service is complete once your trade license and the registrations are done.
  • Trade license changes and fixes: nothing until we file something. Once a change or fix has been filed with an office, the price of that change or fix.
  • Virtual office: once the provider has confirmed your contract, the provider's fee, which they do not refund.
  • Income tax return: nothing until the intake meeting or until we start processing your documents. After that: half of the price. Once the return has been prepared for your approval or filed: the full price, as the service is then complete.
  • Paid consultations: a consultation that has taken place is complete. For moving or cancelling a booking, see the booking page.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of your withdrawal, in the same way you paid, minus the work already done as described above.

After the withdrawal period, section 2 applies: we do not refund a service we could not complete because answers or documents were missing, or came too late for a deadline. We may take exceptional circumstances into account, at our discretion.

7. Changes to these terms

When our services or the law change, we update this page and the date at the top. The terms that applied on the day of your order apply to that order.
