The question we hear most: what will a trade license really cost me? Here are four typical cases: the setup in the first year, and what you pay in your second year, all in CZK.
Four typical cases
Most of our clients use the 60/40 method: 60% of your revenue counts as expenses, you pay monthly advances for social security and health insurance, and the income tax after your yearly tax return. The cases assume Czech public health insurance and the lower social minimum for starters, for 2026.

Why we usually start with the 60/40 method
The flat-tax method (paušální daň) is one fixed monthly payment for tax, social and health, without a tax return. In theory you can use it from the start, if all your registrations go through in time. In practice it is often better to wait: newcomers are rarely fully registered everywhere yet, getting into the flat-tax system can then be complicated, and in a broken first year the tax office in your home country usually wants a statement from the Czech tax office. So we usually advise the 60/40 method first, and the flat-tax method later if it is cheaper for you.
Good to know

- All services are without VAT; we never add VAT to our prices.
